The former central jail premises have been redeveloped and it was to have a museum dedicated to the freedom struggle along with galleries, a sound-and-light show and other facilities including a cafe. Officials of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), who are present at the spot, said there is no museum. “The fort jail complex is itself the museum,” they said.
